Playing in a trio format with bass and drums, Danika’s cyclical fingerpicking style and warm, textural electric guitar tones, paired with otherworldly vocals and candid lyrics creates a full sound and cathartic outlet to be shared with the listener.
Working alongside Grammy-nominated Producer Nick Herrera (Hiatus Kaiyote) in 2019, her debut Single ‘Suit of Armour’ premiered with Gilles Peterson from BBC6, Followed by ‘Sweet Mellow D’. Going on to sign with Endless Recordings in 2021, Danika released her debut EP ‘When Love Comes’, with performances including Panama Festival, Town Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival and more. Danika recently completed her first international tour, with playing 4 shows across Aotearoa/NZ.
Music has been a staple part of Danika’s life from a young age. Growing up meant being on the move, relocating across coastal and rural landscapes around northern NSW, and Danika found music to be a constant companion.
